Duckling is humming?

My duckling is about 3 weeks and today started almost like snoring but while awake is this a sign of a beginning of a uri?

I took him to the vet this morning. He had a piece of dried food in his nose hole. He is also on a prescription medication for the noises which she thinks are the beginning of a respiratory infection. Thanks so much for your response.
