Duckling is panting?

We have 3 pekins in the brooder now. They are about a week old.
They have pine shavings for bedding, and chick starter for food. The lamp is a 60 watt bulb hung a ways above. They aren't huddled together anymore than usual, temp is warm but not hot.

One of them is panting heavily.
What could be wrong?

What is the temp where they are? Ducklings don't need as much heat as a chick.

I don't have a working therm. right now. It is about 78 in the house, I would guess a few degrees higher in the brooder. I'll turn off their light for awhile and see what they do.
