Duckling looks like it's trying to cough

There's no sound. It's quite weird. Was outside today eating drinking snoozing swimming. Sits on elbows sometimes
and walks less than other ducklings. Am giving them all niacin and chick crumble. Otherwise perky and alert. Does anyone know what coughing (that looks like laughing) means?
