Duckling not moving

Sometimes they need to absorb the yolk in their belly so it can take another 24 hours before they find their feet. A margarine container with paper towel is good and giving them nothing by mouth till they can on their own is best.

Excellent! I still recommend increasing vitamin B in their diet (entire flock) if you plan on hatching out their eggs in the future. That nasty deficiency has a hereditary component. If you can afford the expense, a liter sized bottle of the ChickBooster is $18 (here in Panama, where this sort of thing is ultra expensive), can be administered one drop for emergencies (i.e. a sick hen that won't eat), and or mixed with their water. Even if I always dosed at the higher 1ml per 1 liter formula, that still supplements a heaping helping of water! A little bit goes a very long way. I dose chicks at 1ml per 1 liter of water (to overcome deficiencies of the egg), and dose adults at half of that rate. Discard any of the mixed solution that isn't consumed daily as naughty things will grow in it, making your birds sick. I should be able to dose at 0.5ml per liter this coming year, as I will have replaced all of my original (bought at a feed store) breeding stock by then.
I am SO happy that your little one is doing SO much better! Keep up the good work!
