Duckling Panting

This duckling is about two weeks old, not sure what is going on here but none of his siblings are doing this. Any idea what it could be? He doesn't seem to mind being close to the heat plate.

He is panting because he is hot. Ducklings do not like to be too warm. Be sure there are cooler places in your brooder. If your only heat is from the plate, it might be time to raise it.

I just checked the brooder and none of them are under the heat plate. Is it time to take it out?

I would just raise it a lot. They may want it at night. Do they have room to move away from it? If not, you really need a bigger brooder box.
