Perhaps they are mule ducks? I don't think they are"scovies either and most wild ducks are not yellow. They could be a muscovy mallard hibrid. A lot of places have "feral" muscovy populations so I don't think its out of the question. I don't think they are truly "wild" ducklings. Perhaps "feral" but not wild as in a native species.

Friday I just hatched rescued Mallard eggs where the mother had also been killed. Those have way more yellow than my Mallards do. They do look like a Mallards face though.
