Duckling possible bloody hernia?

This lethargic two-day old duck has a bloody thing coming from her,I think it's a hernia or a worm. Any ideas? Looks like she's gonna pass but I want to know if it will affect the other ducklings.

It looks like it's coming from the vent hole. She passed away not even a few minutes after posting this, but I am still wondering what happened so I can help other ducks if they show this.

Very sorry for your loss. It was probably a prolapse, which could have been caused from her straining to poop. I think your other ducklings will be fine, just make sure they have lots of fresh water.

Okay, thank you! I give them electrolytes in their water and it has never caused problems before - would it make this worse or should they just have normal water? They are electrolytes for ducklings from Tractor Supply.

I think you can stop the electrolytes and give just plain water.
