Duckling refusing food and water

Hey guys, my Indian runner (3 days old) is constantly crying, and won't eat or drink even with me dipping his head in the bowls. He's got his eyes shut most of the time and the other 2 happy ducklings climb over him. How do I help?! Why isn't he drinking and will he die?!

I recently had 7 runners hatch. The first hatchling was falling behind in weight, and would just peck at the others and started separating from them... wasn't eating (starter crumble) or drinking. I took a hard boiled egg and a large pinch of nutritional yeast and whizzed it up in the food processor, separated him & hand fed until he was full, then again in the evening. He would eat the egg like he was starving, then he started drinking again. Now he's back to normal duck behavior and eating the crumble. I have now incorporated starter crumble (abt. 1 TBSP) with the egg mixture and am supplementing twice a day. This is the old way my grandparents did with any poultry.

Scrambled egg is so good for ducklings that have fallen behind. I am sure it saved my 2 Runner ducklings from shipping stress I had lost 2 before I thought of scrambled egg.
