Duckling suggestions?

I have a flock of chickens and I’ve been doing some duck research. Are there any breeds that you would suggest for a good layer and essentially a lap duck haha.

I dont know about lap duck but I believe the khaki campbell is a good layer.

Pekin ducks are really nice. They make great lap ducks. They are good layers as well. Khaki Campbell’s are sweet little things too. (I would recommend getting all girls. Especially if you are a new duck owner)

Not exactly but they fight often. Just getting girls means no fertility. Drakes fight a lot.

My Blue Swedish is a great lap duck!! Haha she’s fat and lazy though, so I’m sure if you found any other breed that acted like that they would be just as good.

I have 2 pekin drakes, they only fight over their pool sometimes. They were raised together as far as I know, so that might help them get along.
