Duckling that over eats

Ok thanks, I put her back in her brooder with a bowl of damp food and a bowl of water, hopefully she will get full at some point. Also, is okay that she throws up? Is that just because of her over eating?
Also, what about putting a bowl of water out with some chopped up lettuce in it? I do that for my ducklings and they love it. Maybe it'll help flush out her crop?

Ok, but I'm afraid she over ate, so will eating more help?

She really packed it in didn't she. Hopefully she won't want to eat for a while now. Most of my ducklings and chicks look very much like that after a good meal. Throwing up isn't so good though she could aspirate into her air sacs.

Crops are full until they empty out into the rest of the digestive tract. That's also why she overate - even though her crop gets full, she still hasn't got any food really into her yet, so she is driven to keep eating, which is why she overeats and then throws up what won't fit in her crop. They will do the same thing with water if they go for a while without access to it.

It'll stop now that she has 24/7 access to food like she should. The crop will go down over time as it empties if she's not eating to fill it back up.
