Duckling Thread!

Mmmm zucchini pickles are gooood. I didn’t grow a garden this year I’d it cheating to buy a load of in season stuff and can?
I’m working on integrating my duckies and guineas into my flock.
They are being so brave. Cinnamon, one of my RIRs is a bit of a bully but if I throw out some scraps at the same time she will leave them alone.
It’s adorable watching their little mini flock navigate around the yard. They are so tightly bonded. Carmine the guinea that hatched with the pekins even runs back and forth to the water when he eats:clap
Shoutout to Miss Lydia for holding my hand through the last couple of days. Thank you

Hey are they dill pickles? Hey Bob!!
Yes, they are.
I did dill pickles yesterday along with Elly's recipe for zucchini pickles.
I am also going to try pickling some cucumbers in the zucchini pickle brine today. I had a bunch of brine leftover from canning the zucchini pickles.

Here is the zucchini pickle recipe for @Miss Lydia

They were really good and they taste somewhat like relish.
A little side note: the recipe calls for a LOT of sugar. I only put in half of what the recipe called for and they tasted great.
