Duckling trouble!

We have a duckling that’s vent is swollen......acting like it’s constipated. Any ideas on what’s causing the swelling?

Sadly Feather passed away this morning. We were just using clean rags for bedding (we had issues with wood chips last year and had heard that straw wasn’t so good for ducklings) and chick starter (none medicated) with brewers yeast, probiotic s, and diatomaceous earth mixed in.

So sorry for your loss. How much DE were you using? Only thing it's really good for is mixing with feed to keep it fresh. That is inside containers too. Not in their feed dish. Stuff absorbs liquid so if the ducklings don't drink a lot of water.
