Duckling was born with one leg folded up by his side and the webbed foot is curled. Any advice? He scoot around with his one good leg. Can I correct

Can anyone tell me how to correct a duckling's leg that never dropped. It is facing forward and pressed to his side like he is still in the shell; however, his web foot is still curled up like he is still in his shell too. I don't want to force the leg and even so he couldn't walk on it until his foot spreads out. Thanks in advance for any help! Right now he is 1 day old.
