Duckling wing issue?

Recently I was out of town for a week, and my ducklings were fed by a neighbor while I was gone. They are now 6 weeks old today, and one of my Swedish ducks seems to have a bit of feathers sticking out as seen in this image. I was wondering if it is okay for the wing to be like that, or if it had an issue.

Hello spencedasavage Welcome to BYC. I am a Newbie to the Forum myself and by no means an expert in the area of raising ducklings. To me from the picture and the angle of the feathers sticking outward, it looks to be the start of Angle Wing. There is a lot of great members and valuable information on this Forum related to the AW issue and how to try and correct it. Good luck and keep us posted.

That is defiantly angel so you need to wrap and no swim time while wrapped. It usually takes less that 5 days for it to correct. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/angel-wing-treatment.1252014/.

I agree, s/he has Angel Wing, the feathers still look pretty pliable so bandaging should work for you. Best of luck!

Obviously the sooner the better. Is there a point of no return in the age of the duckling?

By the time feathers are at stage 2/3#, they have lost most of the blood in them, become much stiffer, and definitely a lot harder to correct.
