Duckling with deformed bill hole

This duckling is 2 days old and it's alert, standing, walking, drinking, pecking fine (no interest in crumble yet). Today I noticed an odd notch on its bill and with a closer look I could see that there's a small hole. I can't tell if the hole goes through to the mouth or if it's a deep dent. It is not bleeding. I assume it's a birth defect and likely will have the notch forever but wondering if anyone else has had this come up and if there's anything I can do to help it close up? I do give them nutritional yeast in their feed and I have vitamins for their water but haven't added it til they're regularly accessing the water and food. Couple photos to give an idea.

no I have not seen that but perhaps others have. Ducks are very good at healing though so I think it will be just fine

It may even fill in some when my gander poked a hole in his bill it filled into where you couldn't even tell where it happened. So hopefully this little one would do the same.

I thought I'd share an update in case anyone else has something similar happen. The hole in her bill has healed over. She has a lighter coloured mark where the hole was but it's completely sealed and smoothed out She's a week old now and growing like a weed, strong and loves to swim
