Duckling with injured leg

While marching with mom and siblings, A newly hatch duckling got tangled stuck with a vine. When I found the duckling, Its injured and it cannot walk. I am currently trying to make it recover on a box with hay. I want to know how can I keep it alive while its recovering?

Support with good quality feed and vitamins in the drinking water. Can you get B complex vitamins there. Great support for the legs of our birds. Hopefully it will heal quickly and be back with mama and sibling soon. A mirror attached to the inside of the brooder can help keep the duckling company too. Or if it's not very injured even another duckling for company.

How's the little duckling doing?

My dumb nephew left the door of the storage room open, so This 17 year old Lady named Linda mistaken the poor duckling as a gift for her 17th birthday.

Linda is an indoor cat and she never interacted with my ducks and this is her first time to see one. She ate the poor thing.

Look at her, sleeping with a big belly. I am sad for the demise of the duckling, but at least Linda got her birthday snack.
