My ducklings are two weeks old, growing at a normal speed, and appear happy and healthy. The one that is a little bit bigger than the other has what appears to be a bald spot on its neck when it gets wet. I held it and looked closer to find what looked like a clear large lump with a white tendon looking thing floating in the liquid. I didn't want to press on it and risk hurting the poor little thing or rupturing it. The other duckling has the same thing in the same spot but smaller. The ducky seems to be fine otherwise. Ive tried looking up answers but there was nothing to be found. I will post pictures tomorrow and wet the area to show exactly what Im seeing. Ive had several ducks and ducklings and have never seen this. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

What part of the neck are you talking about? top side or under? and yes a pic would greatly help? reason for asking is sometimes ducklings fill their crops so full they look like they have a swelling.

Sorry I didnt post pictures! The only time I noticed a problem was when they were wet and swimming. There would be a pinkish bald looking spot on the neck so I looked closely and it looked like just water with a white thing floating in it. It grossed me out because it looked like such a thin layer that it could pop. I didnt want to touch it or mess with it so I left it alone and since theres no lump, or sign of it. Im guessing it just drank too much water. Thank you for your fast replies and sorry for my delayed one!
