duckling with saddle legs

i just hatched out 5 more ducks but one seem to have saddle legs as my dad calls it. is there any way to fix this hes in the incubator still and it has a wire bottom so he should have grip to hold on to. pretty much hes legs just dont seem to want to stay under him.
 
It can take a while for them to gain strength and find their feet. Give the little one a while to rest after the hatch- but if it contines to have problems with those legs- you may need to tape them to bring them in line.

Within just a few days it was able to walk again. You may find that with such a young duckling it may only take a day or two- Just make sure it is able to eat and drink- You may have to assist with that be holding it near the food and water.
 
thanks for the tip he seems to be doing better when he moves but his legs still spread out when he stops ill give him awhile to see how he does
