Try giving him a poultry vitamin pack with electrolytes and niacin in it. Some people also use Gatorade to help their ducklings along. For sure, they need niacin. Ducklings need 100 to 150 mg per gallon of water for 8 to 10 weeks. Good luck!

I used the vitamin packs for my ducklings. It has everything you need in it. Niacin can be found at any drugstore, just DO NOT buy the non-flush kind. I never used Gatorade, but I read that it should be a 50% - 50% mix. If you have that on hand I would try giving the duckling a little for now. This is not something I would use for a long period of time, as there is a lot of sugar in Gatorade, and that can cause diarrhea.

Edited to say...

Just dip his bill in the solution, making sure he raises his head to drink. Do this maybe a couple of times, then I would let him be. If in an hour he still is lethargic, and hasn't moved to get anything to eat or drink, I would dip his bill again. He is already stressed from the move, and handling him too much now could stress him more. Once he is better, hold him all you want.
