Duckling yawning or something bad...? (VIDEO included)

Thanks I didn't see that!

A few questions for the OP, are you feeding any treats, if so what, are you feeding crumble or pellets, are you providing the ducklings with deep water so they can clean their nares, how often does she do this, and for how long has she been doing this.

haha yes it is buried at the end there! I gave a little shredded kale in their water yesterday, and some grapes chopped finely today as well. I do have a good sized bowl plenty deep enough, as well as letting them go in the bathtub for a few minutes under supervision. I noticed they don’t seem to be dunking their heads in to either though-I don’t watch them 24/7 of course, but I’ve been spending a lot of time with them and they seem to like just barely dipping their beaks in, even when they’ve been sleeping on me for 20 mins. I know that it’s important for them to be able to clean their nostrils-maybe mine didn’t get the memo?! :barnie

As for the feed, non medicated chick crumble as they are about 2 weeks.

Hi everyone! Just thought I would update the thread in case anyone else has the same question. No panic-they were just thirsty! That will teach me to worry!

They are both fine and have grown into two gorgeous adult Campbells, but I notice only when I'm hanging out with them inside if they're warm and haven't had water in a bit. (I never keep them without it, but sometimes when they're snuggled on my lap they won't move for an hour or so!) So if your duck is doing this, I'd make sure you're worming them if they're old enough, but observe them when they're outside in the cool with lots of water, and mine never do it out there. Thank you all so much for the help! :)
