Duckling

Hi I have ducklings about to hatch my call duck hen is hatching them but is there a special type of water I should give the ducklings and would u let her rasie them or should I?

Clear fresh water and if she wants to raise the Ducklings they are far better off with Momma Duck.....

Let the mama do her thing! This is a good opportunity to watch God's creation do what is was designed to do. We can learn a lot from that

When in doubt, go the natural route!

Definitely let mom raise them so much better for them. She will teach them everything they need to know. For the water just make sure its something than can easily access, and could get out of on their own if they were to fall in, or follow mom in.

Start with a chick starter/grower crumble NON-medicated. Mom can eat that too to get her strength back up after sitting for so long! When are they due to hatch??

Flock raiser is what I use! I think it's purina... or Manna pro? Can't remember but it's the only one at Tractor supply called flock raiser. Or you can use "All Flock" same thing.

Depending on your location?......I feed Duck starter.....UFA in Alberta Canada....
