Ducklings and chicks

I am going to be setting my eggs on Sunday morning. Now my question is my chick eggs need to go on lock down on day 18 but my ducklings will still need turning at that time will it hurt the chicks to open the incubator for the two or three minutes to turn my ducklings. And also when I up the humidity for the lock down will that hurt my ducklings?

I think it would be easier if you set the duck eggs, wait a few days and then set the chicken eggs, so they get locked down and hatch more or less on the same days?
