Ducklings and Goslings

It is supposed to get down to 53 degrees here, we have ducklings and goslings that are 5 weeks of age and still live indoors, we just built a shed for them outside and was wondering if we put a heat pad in that shed would it be warm enough for them to live in the shed for the night or should we just wait until it gets a little warmer?

Probably will be just fine if they have been taking day trips.
