Are ducklings suppose to get grit? And at what age? Or anything else I should know about ducklings and girt(or anything at all lol)?

thanks

I'm not sure about "supposed to" but I give mine grit when I start letting them eat grass or treats. (usually after the first week or two - depending on how active they get.)

I give them the starter grit - which is smaller than layer grit, but bigger than parakeet grit.

I've read on lots of posts here that if they free range your yard then they get enough grit that way. Mine are out roaming all day, so I assume they get what they need. I've never given them any. They are 10 weeks old.

Sadly they cannot free range due to our lovely dogs! LOL! Ducklings would be gone! Ok thanks guys I have the chick grit and will start giving them that. Just wanted to make sure before I started to give them the grit.
