Should i leave them in the incubator until they are dry? how long does it take for them to dry?

We just hatched our first batch and was informed to leave in until dried and fluffy. We took them out after 24 to 48 hours, hope this helps.

Should i reduce the humidity to help them dry off? the humidity is set at about 80% right now and there's no other eggs in there

We just opened the incubator for a minute then closed it back but the humidity stayed high while the chicks were in there. If you have a heat lamp set up I would just take them out after aprox 24 hours but I am no expert. Just what I did. We did just hatch out our first goose this week and took it out after 12 hours.
