Yikes. I've been hatching my own because the post office has become so unreliable. Luckily I live close enough to Ideal that I can make a run. But limited to what they have

I was trying to add a few breeds for future hatching.

So cute. I've been raising for a while. Breeding specifically for eggs. I was on generation 6 and dogs tore down my fence and killed them. So I'm starting again.

It was. I have 4 drakes and 4 hens left out of 18. Two of the drakes are horribly injured but have been to the vet and I'm doing all I can for them. They currently hate me because I'm tube feeding them.

Ha, they will never like me again. I'm excited cause they are biting the heck out of me.one will recover, he got stiched up. The other one is feisty but you can see his spine and the vet said she can't close him up because the wound is too large. Sorry, I didn't mean to make this about me. Maybe I did a little...

Ended up reordering some over the weekend to make up for the ones that didn't make it. Really have been wanting more magpies, preferably female. (Have to buy them straight run) THANKFULLY they arrived on time and happy happy happy this time. Shipped Monday night and arrived at 8:20 this morning. I am SO RELIEVED and so excited to finally have more magpies. Fingers crossed some are female LOL.
