If you stop the video at 5 sec while they are being blown around, there are definately 12 babies.

I think they both got away because she left with the same number she had arrived with. I think the other one didn't go over the raised concrete.

I counted them at each frame and I only saw 11 all the way through. Some of the frames may look like there's twelve, but it's a little distorted from the fast motion.

ETA: That grate didn't look like it had holes big enough for a duckling to fall through.

I even counted at the beginning and saw the two behind the mama and counted only 11.

Poor little things...at least they have all that fluff to pad and protect them while being rolled around.

I don't know, I looked at the whole video, second by second at least ten times now (including going back and forth about 20 times at the 5 second mark) and I only see 11 from beginning to end. Also, there's some kind of blue cover on the "grate" that doesn't look like a duckling could fall through. I even looked at it full screen in as high a resolution as possible.

I would hope the cameraman would have gone and checked after he stopped filming.

I could see, though, where the confusion may come from at the 5 second mark because it looks like he panned over and there was one duckling that looked like it was off screen and there were 11 onscreen, but I think there was some editing or zooming done there and a little distortion.

That was so funny, Then I felt really bad thinking one didn't make it. Wow so happy it's all cleared up now. Poor mama she really looked like she had feather damage hope it's not permanent

I just noticed that the article said there were only 10 ducklings, ha ha. We're all seeing extra ducklings.
