ducklings can't get out of egg

Has he hatched or still in the egg ?

I took her out & removed as much of the shell as possible. It was cold & shaking. There was not a lot of filling inside. I kept it as warm as I could. It died before I was able to get back home.. I feel awful about it.

You tried to help it doesn’t always work out. Did baby still have yolk yo absorb ?

There was no yolk inside & the duckling was at least a week early.
