So, I am waiting on 12 chicks and 5 duckling. My plans is to brood them separately due to the messy and wet nature of the ducklings. However, I want them to be in the same coop.

I would love your advice on what I need to do so these gals can all live together. Do they need to spend some time together in the brooder? Sunny/warm days on grass together?
Help!

Thank you so much!!!

Lots of people seem to be able to house/coop them together. But my ducks last year wouldnt leave the chickens alone. And despite having soo many feed and water stations, they were always chasing the chickens away. So we had to keep them seperate.
