Ducklings Come today! Help me decide!

So this is my set up for the moment. I put down non slip drawer liners. The Tractor Supply Store didnt have any shavings left
And yes, they can get their whole faces into the chick waterer....for now at least.

And lastly a picture of the littlest one dozing by the food.

I should add, my plan is to go and get a much bigger tote tomorrow and the store should have shavings by then too.

I always use straw in my brooder boxes. I create a drainage system at the bottom by using PVC pipe and chicken wire. I place the chicken wire over the PVC pipe and put it on the bottom of the box. This creates about a 2 inch gap for water to drain into. It keeps the brooder box dry and you just have to remove the grate and drain the water every couple of days.
