duckling's essential food

Do you guys know what are the most essential foods for my duckling. He is having a lot of niacin, grit and duck food. He seems to be crying a lot. It's a fifteen days old Cayuga. Thanks

My other duckling who was a pekin died two days ago and we think it's maybe from inbreeding (the farm where we took the eggs didn't have a lot of ducks. Should I put a mirror in his box?

He is still crying when we're around him and he thinks humans are his mom so do you think it may be genetic problems?

No that's normal behavior, with 6 ducks you can have a good breeding program and not inbreed

Go back to that farm and get 2 more.

A mirror and a small stuffed animal or even just a wash cloth or stuffed sock will help.

I don't think I would go back to the farm if you suspect the one that died, was due to inbreeding, but definitely get another one asap, and do what shaw suggested.

OP, if you think there has been some inbreeding going on with their flock, buy other birds, no point in risking it.
