Ducklings first food Help!

Do ducklings need grit like chicks? Mine are about 3 weeks old and I haven't given them any greens yet because I don't know if they need grit.

I got my ducks when they were a few days old and started them on turkey grower.game feed its higher in protein and good for them. I still feed it to them as they are older now but still need the protein. Some dont have luck with it but some do. mine now get a mix of scratch and grower when I feed them. It has made them better I think as they love it and they love it when I come out to feed them. Oh CONGRATS on the new Babies...

Thankyou for the helpful info, ill now put out the turkey grower and also some mashed adult layer with cracked corn, they will be very spoilt.
Mumma duck tried to take them to the pond this morning but they wanted to stay in their nest snuggling in the sunshine. They only hatched out yesterday so they are still tired.
I think she has 15 but ill wait till they go for a swim then ill count and take a photo!
Im not getting much housework done with all the action going on here with banties hatching as well!
