Ducklings from purely poultry

I am ordering ducklings and I am wanting to go with purely poultry but figured I would ask if anyone had any bad experiences with them

I have never ordered from Purely Poultry myself, but I have ordered from Metzer Farms and wanted to ask if you had looked at ordering from them. They specialize in waterfowl, so their birds tend to be better quality that the ones you get ordering from places that do mainly chickens but also some waterfowl.

I had looked into metzer but when I said something to a friend who had ducks she said that her order had arrived with dead and sick ducklings and even though most of what i had heard was good im still hesitant

Did she call Metzer? They will replace or refund any that arrive dead, should that happen. I've ordered from them several times and I'm clear across the country from them and I've never had any problems. I did have a dead gosling once, but you always take that chance when having birds shipped, and they refunded me for it right away.
