My 2 mallards just hatched and I have them in the incubator still. Should I leave them in there for a day or so or move them immediately into a brooder? When should I start to feed them and provide them with water? What should the temp and humidity be?

We just had three ducklings hatch under a chicken. 2 Blue Swedish/Mallard and the third Mallard mix.

You should leave them in the incubator for like 24 hours to allow them to dry off and learn to use their little legs :)

Their left over yolk sac can feed the up to 3 days I believe. Maybe its only two.... You can probably feed and water them when you move them into the brooder. Temperature should be like 95 degrees F for like the first week and then decreasing each week thereafter. I believe they don't need humidity in the brooder. If they do then we have raised our ducks wrong!

-Have 4 Adult Ducks, 6 Ducklings (about 5-7 weeks old), 3 two day old ducklings <3-

Temp for duckling isn't as high as chicks, start at 90 first week then drop 5* each week there after.

Is it okay to lay pine shreds on the floor of the brooder or what should I use padding?

Sometimes ducklings will try to eat shaving if they are small, old clean towels work real well for first week, just shake them out wash and reuse.

Thanks everyone for your advice! Here's a pic of the babies snuggling tonight :)

Ah okay. When we brooded our last batch (this batch is with a chicken) I just put a heat lamp and moved when they were too cold/hot.
