Our ducklings are 2 1/2 wks old, and the runners and harlequins are starting to show bare spots on the top parts of their wings. Hope this is normal? A few are starting to show their adult feathers coming in too. We put some toys in for them to help with bordem. Is there anything we should watch out for now that they have bare places or am I worrying about nothing? One of the harlequins also walks pretty stiff, but they have plenty of room to run. She prefers to sit alot. Is there anything I can give her? Increase brewers yeast?
Their brooder is 6x4 and there are 12 ducks.
TIA!

I'd consider a bigger brooder and get some Liquid B Complex and start giving it to them especially the little WH you can get it at TSC in the cattle dept 1 ml per day or human B complex at moist places that sell vitamins it's not as concentrated so it will need 3ml of the human you can give it over dried meal worms or thawed peas. Some ducklings just need more Niacin than other even in the same brood. And we have seen some great recoveries from using the liquid B complex. @CayugaJana

Thank you!

It really doesn't have very much niacin in it for one already having difficulty. I keep Nutri Drench on hand too but for leg issue it's almost always a niacin issue and the B complex helps the most. Brewers yeast doesn't have as much niacin as Nutritional yeast has but even with that once a leg issue start it's best to use the liquid B Complex.

Can you buy it on Amazon? Do you use a particular brand?
