Ducklings

Hi! I'm new to hatching ducklings...I've read a few articles and I think I have the basics down...but I had one hatch at 17 days. is that normal? is it going to be okay?

That would be extremely early, what breed? Were these your own eggs or eggs shipped to you? Any chance that a broody was sitting on it before you took it or is it warm enough where you are that the heat may have started it developing?

It's mixed with a mallard and I don't know what else. I gather the eggs everyday. I put this one in there on Feb 28th and it hatched before any of the first batch that I put in the 25th..
