Unfortunately I lost my buff drake to a raccoon he sacrificed his life for my crested Birdie. So as she was laying eggs I thought I would look and see how long she would produce the fertilized eggs lol too bad I didn’t look until I ate two of them, but that’s ok. My first time hatching eggs in an incubator messed up on the humidity, looked on here and fixed it out of my seven fertile eggs I had only one die two weeks in and one didn’t make it out of his shell in time I was too scared that I would hurt the membrane, which I know next time how to do it. Pretty sure most of them have the crest! Johnny 5, Birdie, RIP Duckie, Sheldon, Quackers,Windsor, and Tracey!

They are the best! So exciting to see who they are going to look like, one is going to look like daddy, the other three just gotta wait and see. Sad for my Duckie, but glad he saved my Birdie!

What brave drake...my drake would run in the opposite direction and leave my girls to fight the enemy off....my girls are strong tho so all good! Cute duckies!!!
