i have a newly hatched shetland duck and it still has the membrane all on its face covering its one eye how can i clean it. it had it all over the one side of it i got it prttey clean but worried about its eye

Assuming the membrane is dried on there, dampening it with a warm paper towel may help soften it enough to very gently remove it. If that doesn't work, you could try a bit of coconut oil. Obviously, be very gentle and avoid putting water or oil in the duckling's nares (nostrils). Best of luck!
