Ducklings

Would it be safe for my ducklings to sleep in dog/cat beds? (new, not used) and have stuff like blankets and stuffed animals around their coop?
I will have straw, hay and normal bedding underneath and then the beds ontop, is that okay for them?

You'll probably only be able to use them once before having to wash them. Make sure anything you put in their coop doesn't have any strings or anything they could pull off and swallow.
