How old does ducklings have to be before you let them swim supervised

with supervision, you can let them swim from day 1. Actually helps them. I could pull the paper out, but they found incubated ducklings have a residue from hatching that affects their water repellancy....sooner they wash it off the better they do.

Agreed! Just make sure the water isn't too deep or cold and they have a warm,clean brooder to return to after!!
