Ducks about to hatch

I read two news reports about women in England each hatching a duck from a supermarket cartons of duck eggs. I bet there are many more along with SupermarketDuck and BelovedBirds hatching ducklings on your side of the Big Pond!

I think it's the same brand of eggs too! I'd love to share my duck's story with the news/media, but I feel I can't say anything too loudly in fear of people trying it as a "trend".
I've seen people buy store eggs, put them on radiators, they develop and then die before hatch. I don't want to be the cause of that.
Lots of people want to try it but don't research on how, or prepare for the fact that they could end up with ducks!
