Hi everyone! I have 21 chicken in the coop right now and they all get along perfectly. we just bought 4 ducks and 4 chicks (isa browns!) to add to our flock. Our chickens have been very accepting to new chicks in the past. do you have any tips for our introduction of the new ones? this is our first time adding ducks to the flock. do the ducks need their own coop or can they stay with the chickens? thanks!!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I brood chicks in a built in brooder in the coop using a brooder plate. Integration starts around 4 weeks old.
Ducks are very messy with their water and would be better off in their own coop. That's just my opinion.
