Is it possible for them to live in the same coop and run happily?

I know that the coop would need to be cleaned out more often and water deep enough for ducks to get water to their nostrils. I would have a baby pool available for them to swim in and I would change that water once a week.

But besides that I am not sure what else I should do or make sure to have.

My runner ducks, geese, and chickens have all shared the same coop. They range during the day and I have kiddie pools for the waterfowl. Other than that it all seems to work just fine

I do not advocate mixing fowl . They don't live that way naturally. A drake can and will mate your hens brutally. Please give the ducks their own place.

At what age can this begin?
I have month old drakes and hens together now. Can a hybrid be produced as a result of this?

The last ducks I had started mating at 3- 4 months. As they get older and possessive they can get aggressive with whichever they have chosen to mate with.

i have one pair in with the chickens because they were being picked on by my herd drake, as I call him. they are wonderful, she lays underneath the nestboxes and they are really close. the chickens don't have a problem with them and no one seems to be put out.
