Ducks and guinea pigs health?

(Not sure where is best to post this, and couldn't find anything related in search terms) I have some guinea pigs and have been planning to also keep my incoming ducklings in the same general area. Are there any illnesses or diseases that could be transmittable between the two? Or anything else I should be aware of, or where I could look for information? I don't want to endanger any of them. Thanks in advance for any insight!

In the same area but not in the same living area? Ducklings are extremely messy and I don't think Guinea Pigs would appreciate living in wet poop and water slung everywhere. Same vicinity would be okay as long as there is ventilation. Respiratory would be the most worrisome which means the bedding in the duckling brooder will need to be cleaned often. Wet poop smelly poop can cause ducklings and all other species to have respiratory issues.

Not sure if you mean the same room or them being housed in the same brooder (Which shouldn't even be an option) If you are talking about the same room, you can try posting on the other livestock threads.

Ah, sorry for the confusion! I meant I was planning to keep the duckling brooder in the same room as my Guinea pigs -- definitely not in the same pen!

This makes sense, thank you. I know guinea pigs are sensitive to respiratory issues so I've learned to be very careful about them, but just worried there was something I forgot to consider about ducklings possibly passing something to them.
