Ducks and Pigeons?

make sure the pigeons have lots of perches and high places where the ducks cannot go. also put their food up there so the ducks will not eat it. try to make things under all the perches so that the poop does not fall onto the ducks. if you plan to let the pigeons have babies, don’t let them share a coop. ducks don’t like babies that aren’t there’s.

As folks who have both pidges and ducks on our farm, this is a question about which we've wondered. We assumed it was not ideal, which is why we are now building a separate aviary for the pidges, but I'd love to hear the thoughts of others.

when we had a single pigeon we kept her with two ducklings and they got along great! she was only a single pigeon until friends could be found though, then the ducklings moved out.
