DINOSRBIRDS, what kind of drake was it? Just curious. My muscovy drake has been terrorizing my hens by trying to mate with them, scratching their side and then the sight of blood caused the other hens to so insane and peck her to death. Happened twice. Crazy!
I used to raise Saxony, Mallard and Rouens and never had any problems, not to give muscovy a bad rap, probably just this particular drake is a little 'funny turned' and thinks chicken hens are sexier than his own kind.
Glad you posted to make people think twice about housing them together, I learned the hard way also. Ducks definitely aren't evil though.
