I’ve had 2 ducks in the last 3 months die identically, both ducks were fully grown and had beaks torn off, nothing else was hurt or injured, eyes were still intact, bodies were intact, and no ruffles feathers. I have other ducks and I really want to find out what’s doing this to my pets! They have free range in a fairly large fenced in yard with plenty of water food and space. I don’t think so but I’m even starting to consider the idea of a person doing this.

:welcome:frowagain. I just answered your other post. I have had both 2 legged and 4 legged predators as well as aerial predators. Many lessons learned the hard way. I have several cameras up around on my property. I have seen both as I mentioned 2 legged and 4 legged predators on my cameras. I have some cameras on posts that I move around. I know a camera will only get a picture of whatever sets off the cameras but then I know what I'm dealing with and can form a plan of what to do and how to deal with it. Again, good luck...

Cameras. Like cmom said.

I would suspect dogs possibly. Mine never made much of a mess, she just ran them til they were dead. Tearing off the beak seems like something a dog would do but you'll need footage to be sure of that.
