Ducks back is brown and sticky! Please help!

If anyone knows anything please let me know! I have a three year old duck name Bubbles who is crossed toe. Today when I went to go check on her she had all this brown/ grey/ green stuff on her back. At first I thought it was poop but when I looked closer it was more sticky and not watery like ducks poops are. I gave her a bath and she was all clean and when I came back three hour later she had the same problem. She is breathing normal.I know it looks like poop but if so why is it coming from her back?! I have no idea what this is or how to help her! Please help if you know anything! Thank you

Do you have other ducks?maybe a drake on her back for mating? Her preen gland is in that area check it to make sure it’s okay. When you get her cleaned again you’ll see it better and it should have yellow around it that is the oil they use to water proof their feathers.

Could she be hanging out beneath a vehicle and getting grime on herself from that?
