I can get pics. There is no swelling. Our rooster jumped on her back yesterday. She very well have gotten it stuck in a fence.she has been scooping. Have a little hope for her.

Edit:Well apparently it won't let me do crap, can't upload anything. I will update and let y'all know how she is doing later.

She may be bruised and if so there is likely to be swelling of her tongue and bruising..hopefully she will be better being isolated and fed individually for now...

Could be because you only have a few posts....I think over 20 before it allows, as somebody said ...go to the greeter page and welcome in others to bump up your post numbers....so frustrating!!!!!!

I might let her take a few minutes with some ice water - just a few ice cubes in water, enough to make it very cool - might help with swelling. Trying to think of something that might help.

A very mild comfrey tea might help a little. If it is a break, I am wondering how the jaw could be immobilized but she could still get nourishment. With people, the jaw is immobilized but a bit of wiggle room is left so that the person can use a straw, and all food is pureed.

A creative veterinarian is what I would like to have jump in here right now!
