Ducks drinking Dirty pond water/eggs

So i have 4 ducks (1 male) that are fed daily dry food and chopped veggies in water they also have a pond man made that has not been cleaned very dirty is it ok for our ducks to drink that water ?and us eat the eggs they lay ?

Providing the ducks clean water 24/7 sounds nice, but is not always practical since ducks like to at least wash their heads in their drinking water. They are very messy creatures who also like to bathe.
That being said, if the pond is their only source for drinking, I would provide them a bucket with clean water so they at least have another source.
I would have no problem eating their eggs.

I change out the swimming water at least once a week - 2 or more times when it's hot out.
But, I always provide fresh water daily as well, so that they have options. The water doesn't stay fresh for more than 2 seconds, but still it's there.

Given the option between regularly cleaned water in kiddie pools or muddy water standing in pools in my driveway, my ducks like both equally.

I have been eating their eggs for years with no issues.
